We understand prototyping to be the development of optimised systems and application technology for the most efficient and economical coating systems. Innovative plant and process design as well as the combination of existing and new technologies shift boundaries and help to define the new state of the art. Process and plant design follows the requirements of the process chemistry and not the other way around in this regard.
A well-equipped laboratory together with our new technical centre and our Analytics department provide the construction and verification of sub-plants or small plants in the prototype stage.
Here, we fall back on the competence and know-how of engineers from the Process Engineering, Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering fields.
This competence-overlapping approach enables a holistic view of coating solutions in the context of new developments.
